Elementary school training
HOW DO WE PROCEED?
In primary education, groups 6, 7 and 8 are important in determining your child’s secondary school recommendation. For group 6 this is the Cito-Entreetoets and for group 7 and 8 the Cito-Eindtoets or the IEP-eindtoets. This test can be stressful because it gives an estimate of the secondary school recommendation. At StudieBinck, we prepare all elementary school students for these tests. It is practiced on with a variety of teaching materials and focuses on increasing the student’s self-confidence. This allows your child to take the Cito or IEP test in a relaxed manner.
CITO-toets
The Cito test is taken in both Group 7 and Group 8. During the test, the focus is on math, reading and language care, among others. These scores provide insight into the student’s level and may determine the high school recommendation. At StudieBinck your child will get the right guidance.
IEP Eindtoets
At the end of grade 8, the IEP final test is administered to students and tests the components of reading, language skills and math. From here, an estimate is made of the student’s high school level. At StudieBinck, your child will get the right knowledge and skills.
Fear of Failure Training
Nobody likes to fail. For some people, that fear is so strong that it even prevents them from starting (in time), or you can’t stop going over your work. Do you recognize that? Don’t worry; you’re not the only one, and you can do something about it.
Fear of failure is a common form of stress among students. In this training, you will learn what it is, where it comes from and how to deal with it.
